WODs Your Mom Could Do – Day #6: 6 MIN AMRAP!!

Hi! Welcome to Day #6 of WODs Your Mom Could Do. You can check out the introduction to the series, and Days #1-5 right over here.

Today’s workout is only 6 minutes, but there is one catch. Today we have a buy-in to be completed before the wod and a cash-out to be completed afterwards.

Pull-ups to be completed in whatever fashion you can manage — strict or jumping or with some bands to help you out.

Make sure you take some time to review the movement standards before you start the wod.

Hand release push-ups are pretty straightforward. Ground to overheads can be completed using weight plates or dumbbells. I personally prefer to use a plate, but if a dumbbell is all I had lying around — I’d go for it!!

Cash-out is a 500m timed row or 5 minutes of double under practice.

My mom completed 4 rounds. She used a 10lb plate to practice the movement. Go mom!!!

Lisa is still playing catch-up, but she’ll be back on track shortly. She had a wedding to go to today and didn’t want to mess up her hair before it! Perfectly legit excuse!!
